History
Born on 14 October, 1893, Christopher M Christie attended Glasgow School of Art in 1912-13 and then again in 1918-1919. In his first year he studied Architecture as an evening student. His occupation was listed as Apprentice Architect, so this course would be part of his training. When he returned in 1918, however, he came back as a full-time day student to study Design. A note in the Register next to his name reads, 'course being arranged,' and as one of the last registrations for 1918, it may be that this was a late decision on his part to attend the course that year.
