Scope and content
General, and alphabetical, correspondence of Harry J Barnes. This correspondence includes copy 'out' letters and letters received, and spans Mr Barnes' Directorship of the School. Correspondence has been arranged alphabetically in a similar fashion to the corresponence of Douglas Percy Bliss (DIR/12/1). The correspondence relates to a wide variety of subjects. With the exception of this alphabetical correspondence, most of Harry Barnes' papers and correspondence appear to have been arranged thematically so more correspondence can be found within the rest of Barnes Papers', arranged thematically, from DIR/13/2 onwards.
