Born in Reading, he graduated with an MA from the RCA in 1983 following a degree in 3D Design at Birmingham. Had a studio on Yell, Shetland for some years, then moved to Norfolk. Notable commissions include a first class stamp to celebrate the Millennium, a £2 coin celebrating the life of Brunel and a Queen Elizabeth £5 crown – both for the Royal Mint.
