History

Jules Rombouts was born in 1899 and enrolled at The Glasgow School of Art for the academic year 1916-1917. He worked as an electrical engineer, which may have been his daytime occupation as he elected to study as an evening student in Architecture. During his time at the college he resided at Park Terrace (possibly East Lane).

Records show that Rombouts did not complete, or possibly commence, his studies at the college as he left to do war work. Rombouts' fate after this is unclear and there is no evidence of his returning to the college in the following years. Please get in touch
