Physical Description

This masonic apron is made of green leather and silk and also has a white leather panel on the front. On this panel are two ruffled circles of green silk material with two gold stars embroidered with metal thread. The borders are decorated with yellow, orange and gold metal thread, forming a zigzag design. In the centre is a blue shield badge featuring three smaller shields in red, blue, black and yellow thread. The shield reads: "Mother Kilwinning - Nisi Dominus Frustra". The top section, made of green silk holds the masonic symbol with the letter G inside. The letters "M.K.0" are embroidered in metal thread below. These stand for "Mother Kilwinning No.0". The edges have a frilled metal thread trimming. There are also two woven bands with a heavy gold weight and decorative chains with balls. The bands for tying the apron around the waist feature an S-shaped two-headed snake fastener.

Dimensions: 410 x 520 mm
