This item was lost in the fire in The Mackintosh Building at The Glasgow School of Art on 23rd May 2014.

Portrait of what the artist believed Jesus Christ to look like, bearded and wearing a white tunic.

This painting was previously given the title "Portrait of Hugh Adam Crawford" and attributed to Cordelia Oliver. This was later found to be incorrect and in 2024 the catalogue entry was altered to reflect this.

A variety of artworks completed by Mary Ramsay, including life drawings, portraits, architectural studies, designs, prints, and illustrations. Some of these items are dated to her time as a student at The Glasgow School of Art. Most items are pencil on paper, with a few further studies in paint.

This subfond includes one item by Jessie Wilson (DC 110/1/1/18), another student of The Glasgow School of Art, with whom Mary Ramsay and Margaret Macdonald started a pottery decorating business at The Studio, Strathyre, in 1926.

Watercolour painting of a boy eating a watermelon against a yellow background. The work is signed and dated and an inscription on the front reads 'For Fiona on your 25th Birthday. Happy birthday from Colin.' An inscription below this reads 'Grid for Boy eating a water melon. Started Tuesday 28 April. Colin Wilson. 9 inches from 12% - 75 % - 75/14 - 10 1/2 inches.' The work is framed by a brown tape border.

Bust of Girolamo Benivieni

Plaster bust after a terracotta bust of Girolamo Benivieni executed in 1863 by Giovani Bastianini in the collections of the Louvre, Paris. However, significant differences between the plaster bust by J Giusti & Co and the original bust by Bastianini, particularly the shape of the hat, suggest that the plaster bust is derivative of an unidentified intermediary copy.
