'Fireworks'

Framed painting of an abstracted crowd watching fireworks. Artist's stamp in red ink visible in lower right. Typed label on reverse of frame reads 'Fireworks 1969', below which 'NFS' has been crossed out and a handwritten price of £450 added. A handwritten pencil annotation on the reverse of the frame reads 'sent to GSA for the Entrance Test 1969'.

Painting of boats on the water. There is no clear delineation between the sky and the water, rendered in pastel shades of blue, yellow, pink and purple. In the background, figures can be seen walking on a dock. Artist's stamp in red ink in lower left. Annotations on reverse read 'Entrance Test for GSA (sent 1969)' and '1968 Malaysia, fascinated by Turner'.
